This kit converted a XX-4 buggy into a 4wd Truck. It is a Class 8 truck body mounted on a XX-4 Chassis.

The only new parts created for it was the body and decals. The body mount parts are from the Street Weapon.

1. ...it was just a body set. I recall the plan was to try and get a new class started. We were good friends with Scott Taylor that used to race the real Ford truck back east. It was more of a "bro" deal for licensing. Unfortunately we did not do a very good job of advertising the Heavy Metal class. In fact I think we only ran one ad that had them in action and it featured my truck, Jon Andersons, Albert Guardado (former employee) and Gary Kyes if I recall correctly. It was shot at the Ranch Pit Shop before it was closed down. Don't really recall much more than that to be honest. It's a shame it didn't take off, guess we were a little ahead of our time with the short course explosion.
